Repair and Maintenance of Your MAVIG Products

A repair service is available through our factory in Munich.

For repair requests from Germany, please contact vgd@mavig.com, for international requests, please contact info@mavig.com. We also offer you our user-friendly contact form. Please always send us the serial number of the affected item, photographs of the damage as well as your full contact details (address, phone number, e-mail).

 

We kindly ask you to notify MAVIG in advance by telephone or in writing before returning any goods. You will then receive the documents for your service request, containing the barcode, return package sticker and a form for the decontamination verification. If goods are sent without proof of decontamination, MAVIG is legally obliged to refuse acceptance of the consignment or to return the goods to you at your expense.

 

Checking your Radiation Protective Clothing

 

To ensure the radiation protective clothing still provides complete protection, it should be checked regularly, at least once every 3 months. Tears, clearly visible kinks, protrusions, and uneven areas are all indications of a defect.

We recommend that the radiation protective clothing is inspected according to the standard DIN 6857-2:2016. This involves a fluoroscopic examination with X-rays at regular intervals, in addition to regular visual and tactile tests.

Prior to each use of the product, check for visible damage. Do not use a damaged product!
