Mobile X-Ray Protective Shield

The height-adjustable mobile shield with a special contour cut-out and additional lower, radiation protective strips can be placed over the body of the patient, effectively reducing secondary radiation emanating from the patient’s body.

Radiation Protection for Medical Professionals

The upper section of the WD304 consists of a transparent lead acrylic panel with a contour cut-out, a Pb value of 0.50 mm, and max. 110 cm in width.

The lower shield section is comprised of a steel body with a grey-white varnished finish (RAL 9002). The base has a Pb value of 1.00 mm and measures 78 cm x 78 cm (WxH).

In addition to the mobile radiation protective shield WD302, the WD304 offers a removable undertable protection consisting of flexible overlapping radiation protective strips with a lead equivalent of 0.50 mm. The shield is adjustable in height from 143 cm (minimum height of the shield) to 190 cm (maximum height of the shield). In both cases, the measurements are from the upper edge of the shield to the floor.
