MAVIG has become aware of representations suggesting that MAVIG has issued a compliance declaration or approval for products manufactured by Rampart IC, Inc. (“Rampart”), permitting their installation on MAVIG suspension and rail/track systems.

For the avoidance of doubt, MAVIG has not issued any such declaration, approval, certification, or authorization.

Rampart products have not been evaluated, tested, or approved by MAVIG for use with MAVIG suspension systems, rail systems, track systems, or any other MAVIG structural support products. Accordingly, Rampart products must not be installed on, connected to, or used in conjunction with MAVIG systems unless MAVIG has provided prior written approval for the specific application.

Any installation of non-approved third-party products on existing MAVIG systems, including but not limited to MAVIG Portegra2 systems, constitutes an unauthorized modification of the original system configuration. Such modifications may impair the safety, performance, and regulatory compliance of the system.

As a result, any MAVIG warranty, certification, performance commitment, or product liability relating to the affected MAVIG system shall be void to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. MAVIG assumes no responsibility for failures, damages, injuries, or other consequences arising from or related to such unauthorized modifications.

This policy has been stated in MAVIG’s operating manuals and technical documentation for more than twenty years. Only products that have been expressly approved by MAVIG in writing may be installed on or used with MAVIG suspension and rail/track systems.

Should you require clarification regarding the compatibility or approval status of any third-party product, please contact MAVIG directly before installation or use.
